Solutionary Inc., the leading provider of managed security services, today announced the promotion of Rob Kraus as Director of the Solutionary Engineering Research Team (SERT). Augmenting existing research initiatives that actively monitor and assess vulnerabilities, Kraus offers a client centric perspective based on his previous manager role within Solutionary's Security Consulting Services.

As Director of Research, Kraus will lead initiatives to analyze threats, produce reports and distribute alerts to customers and the security industry. Prior to Solutionary, he has worked in a variety of IT and security centric roles at Digital Defense, Inc., AT&T, Telcomtex Communications, TechSkills and Nortel Networks. Kraus started his career serving in the United States Army supporting operations for ten years.
